Well Spring Break was amazing...it was so nice to get away and reset ourselves. We started our adventure in Redding and walked along a wonderful path to the Sundial Bridge (it is the largest in the world) truly beautiful. We then went on our way, next up was a little cheese factory and bakery. It was there I had the BEST Key lime pie ever! After that we continued on our way to Glass Beach, The Rock, Bayside Aquarium, Jelly Belly Factory, Olive Oil Tasting, Haunted Washoe Club in Virginia City, and finally making our way to Circus Circus in Reno. We had a crazy time time playing and gambling and WON WON WON! I got the royal treatment with free nights, t-shirt, and champagne! It was sad to say good-bye to our travel time but it was just what the doctor ordered for all of us. We had many good laughs and crazy memories that will last a lifetime!

Our Christmas trip

This year we went to a haunted hotel "The Geiser Grand Hotel" in Baker City Oregon and it was truly amazing. It is over 200 years old and stunning. It is said to be haunted and we did experience some things that were a bit unusual. LOVED IT! We can't wait to go back and stay in room 302, it has the most activity they say. After our crazy night we headed up to Anthony Lakes ski resort and spent the day on the slopes. It was so beautiful...truly majestic! Our vacation ended with ringing in the New Year with family and friends up at Lake house. We played in the snow and sled like crazy and I drove a snowmobile for the first time. It was a vacation of many memories!

Well the break is finally here and I'm so in need of some down time. Ready for Christmas and all of the shopping is finished as of today! Getting my self all set up for the great bake-a-thon this week, time for many different cookies! Thinking tomorrow will be the day...yummy!

Well the Baby shower was great fun and so exciting to see Ally all smiles! She looked adorable... and was just so cute! Thanks to all who came and helped us celebrate. The theme was bootie-ful baby boy Lucas! I had a blast decorating with Anna! We did a clothesline across the kitchen and the cake matched. Eveything was done in green,yellow, and blue. She received a lot of wonderful gifts but Kaydee cleaned house on the games! The baby will be such a joy...can't wait to meet the little guy in person.

Halloween Party theme this year...countries around the world!

Another great Halloween party this year, the turnout was great and so much fun! Everyone came dressed to the hilt and represented their countries well! Dave and I waited until the last minute and ended up with decent costumes. I was Spain and Dave was Rome...always good times getting to see old friends and making new ones! We had food from each country and just good old fashioned FUN! What will we do next year hmmmmmm?????

Have the running fever!

Dave and I ran our second 5K race today...Barber to Boise! It was great, we both beat our times and achieved the goals we set for the day! Dave got 5th in in overall age group, it was awesome. I wasn't sure how the race was going to go because I had my shin splint problem going on, but I wrapped it and NO PAIN! Whoohoo! We are now getting ready for the next event in Overton, Nevada...it will be a 10K!

Gotta love football season! It has been a long time since we had the whole gang together...great family times! Hard to believe everyone is so grown up! The Broncos won making the day just perfect!
